Serge Majoullier

Serge Majoullier, geboren in Grasse, studeerde scheikunde en economie voordat hij zich bij de analyse- en chromatografieafdeling van MANE voegde. Hij maakte de overstap naar de afdeling essentiële oliën en bloemenproducten, en werd uiteindelijk parfumeur. Van 1995 tot 2002 was hij directeur parfumerie, waarna hij zich weer volledig richtte op het creëren van geuren, terwijl hij ook betrokken bleef bij onderzoek.

Majoulliers grootste inspiratiebron is de natuur, wat blijkt uit zijn behandeling van iris, die chocoladenuances oproept, zoals in Armani Privé’s Femme Bleue. Daarnaast haalt hij inspiratie uit de culinaire wereld, waar hij de creatieve associaties van koks waardeert en vaak teruggrijpt op de geuren van de rijst- en griesmeelkoekjes van zijn moeder. Ook de sfeer van het dagelijks leven, zoals markten en beurzen, inspireert hem. Reizen is voor Majoullier een manier om zijn olfactorische herinneringen aan specifieke projecten te koppelen.

Usage advice

Apply the hair perfume to damp or dry hair, from 30 cm. Spray 1-2 times in the air and walk through the 'perfume cloud' to perfume the hair. Repeat if desired, depending on your mood
